Round 3 of the 2012 WRC heads over to Mexico once again. Its a tough high altitude event for the Drivers and Teams. And its where the battle for the Championship really starts.
Both Ford and Citroen will want good results here for the championship. which at the moment, Citroen lead with Loeb and Ex Ford driver Mikko Hirvonen. The Fords of Petter Solberg and Jari Matti Latvala aren’t far behind after their great results and Latvala’s win on the previous event in Sweden. Also making a return to the WRC will be the Monster World Rally team with the fans favorite Ken Block, who starts his 1st of the 3 rallies that he has scheduled for this year. But joining him in the Monster team will be Chris Atkinson. The former Subaru WRC driver has always gone well in Mexico in the past, and will be hoping for some good results in the WRC which he hasn’t competed in since Ireland back in 2009.
