The FIA World Rally Championship heads to Great Britain next month and event bosses are hard at work recruiting volunteers for the Cardiff-based round.
Approximately 3000 volunteers are needed to ensure Wales Rally GB runs without a hitch. They have until 24 August to register their interest by emailing staffing@walesrallygb.com.
Wales Rally GB chief executive Andrew Coe said: “We take great pride in being able to work with volunteers from the wealth of passionate motorsport fans in Wales and throughout the UK, rather than having to rely on a commercial third party supplier.
“So many people get involved because, not only does marshaling look good on your CV, but it also gives you the chance to get close to the world class sporting action. The days might be long, and the weather not always the most hospitable – although a September date may improve our chances of sunshine. Nevertheless, there is a real sense of camaraderie among the ranks of the fantastic Wales Rally GB marshals and everyone always has lots of fun whilst still doing an essential job.”
Wales Rally GB takes place from 12-16 September. Entries close today (Tuesday).
