Rally mexico kicked off on Thrusday Evening with a 1Km DC shoe street stage in the city of Guanajuato. Petter Solberg took the victory on the super special in front of thousands of fans in his Ford fiesta RS WRC and beat Loeb by 0.4 seconds.

At stage end Solberg said, “It’s a very very difficult, but I had a great feeling in there. i have to be a little more careful on the stage tomorrow. to win the first stage in front of these huge crowds was vaery special moment. It meant a lot to me and the whole ford Team.
