After day 1 of Rally Spain, where the WRC crews had to tackle 3 night Stages. Its once again Volkswagens Sebastien Ogier who holds the lead in Spain.

Paddon “Definitely enjoying it, struggling with a lot of understeer: we need to try to make some improvements for tomorrow…”
Hirvonen: “ups and downs. But feeling with the car is not too bad.. Have to try few things tomorrow and then we will see”
Latvala: “A good consistent evening, no big istakes which is the main thing. This stage was very nice, I pushed a bit harder, I think I had a good run although Ogier was just slightly faster.”
Ogier: “Very tricky 1. Car was quite good. Had a good feeling. It was very slow, but we had a good drive. Michelin tyres are good.”
