As night fell over Barbados, the atmosphere grew at the Vaucluse Raceway for stage 1 of Rally Barbados. Where 3 times Rally Barbados winner Jeffrey Panton went head to head against Paul Bird, both in Ford Focus WRC cars. Panton narrowly beating the British driver by just two tenths of a second. Leading the rally after tonight’s first stage by 0.26 of a second, with Kevin Procter 3rd in his Ford Fiesta.
